Stopping Vomit
Stopping Vomit
Just as the commonly used pure or allied medicine tablets called ‘Aformai’ is used for stopping vomits so also a way through which vomits can be stopped locally using natural herbs as been discovered. Below is the detailed guide;
Raw material
Portable plastic bowl
Water (clean)
A sieve
Fresh cut bitter leaves
Method of Production
Rinse a portable plastic bowl with clean water
Put a freshly cut and detached bitter leaves into it
Add water to rinse away the dirt of the cut leaves up to two times
Take another already rinsed bowl and put the rinsed bitter leaves into it.
Add 1 litre measurement of clean water to it (or more depending on how plenty you want it to be.)
Squeeze the leaves with your two palms contained in the bowl thoroughly till the water turns coloured (dark or deep green) from its colourless form.
Allow to be still for some minutes to make sure the sediments (i.e dirt particles) settle at the bottom of the bowl.
Gently pour the water (deep green) into another clean bowl through a sieve so as to separate the water from the left over of leaves and sediments.
Add little salt to the filtrate (i.e the coloured liquid).
And give five to six table spoonful to the patient.
Wet the patient’s face with some clean water with your palm, sat him down to calm and stop the vomit.
Note: It is always important and advisable you get rid of the patient’s vomits so as to prevent him from seeing it which could make him to vomit again.
